XCCDF

XCCDF (eXtensible Configuration Checklist Document Format) is an XML-based language for representing security checklists, benchmarks, and related documents in a machine-readable form. An XCCDF document represents a structured collection of security configuration rules for one or more applications and/or systems. XCCDF describes the system characteristics to be checked or validated.

The SCAP application provides support for eXtensible Configuration Checklist Document Format (XCCDF).
