External scanners are included in our service. They're used for network discovery and perimeter scanning and must be able to access target hosts.
Go to Help > About to see the external scanner IP addresses for the SOC associated with your account/location. You may need to add the scanner IP addresses to your allow list.
External scanners are only used for perimeter scans/maps. You'll use a scanner appliance for internal scanning. The Help > About page lists the URLs that your scanner appliances must be able to contact for internal scanning.
