Configure scanner appliances if you want to scan web applications in your internal network. You'll configure scanner appliances using the VM application (VM/VMDR > Scans > Appliances).
Want to use a physical appliance? Go to VM/VMDR > Scans > Appliances and select New Scanner Appliance - you'll get an activation code. Then go to your scanner appliance UI and enter the activation code in the LCD panel.
Want to use a virtual appliance? Go to VM/VMDR > Scans > Appliances and select New Virtual Scanner Appliance. Our wizard will walk you through the steps - you'll get a personalization code and configure your scanner appliance within your virtualization environment.
