Will I be notified when my scan is finished?

If malware is detected by the scan, then you will be notified by email. If malware is not detected, then you will not be notified. For a scheduled scan you select the Activate Notification option (in the schedule settings) to receive an email notification before each scan is scheduled to start. When selected the owner receives this notification automatically and you can add more recipients.

Can I scan a single page?

Yes, you can launch a scan on a single page of any site in your account. Go to Scans > Scan List and select New Scan > Scan Single Page. In the Page Scan window, enter the URL of the page you want to scan and click Scan.

How do I view scan results?

All scans (running and finished) appear on the Scan List. When the scan status shows Finished, hover over that row and select View from the menu to see the full results, or click View Report to generate a scan report.

How long will my scan data be saved?

Scan results for pages with detected threats will be saved by the service for 1 year. Scan results for pages with no detected threats will be saved for a limited time only. Learn more

Can I create a report on my scan results?

Yes, hover over a finished scan in the list and choose View Report from the menu to display a report in the report list. You can also download a copy of your report to your local file system.

Just click Save Report from Actions or Quick Actions menu and choose a format (HTML, PDF, Encrypted PDF, or CSV).

Can I save the list of scanned pages?

Double-click the scan and select Download from the tools menu in the top right corner. Select the format in which you want to save the information and click Download. When prompted, provide a location to save the document.

How many web pages can I scan?

You can scan up to 1,000 pages per site with the standard Qualys Web Malware Detection service. To scan more pages, simply contact a Qualys representative for more information.
