Configure a Distribution Group

A distribution group is simply a group of users/email addresses. Add one or more distribution groups to a monitoring profile to tell us who should be notified of alerts for the profile. You can also manage distribution groups in the VM application by selecting VM/VMDR > Users > Distribution Groups.

Name the distribution group

Enter a descriptive name for this group of users/email addresses.

Create an email list

Include email addresses for users in the subscription (simply select users from the list) and email addresses for users outside of the subscription by typing them into the field provided.

Enter email addresses

This is where you enter email addresses for users outside of the subscription.
