EC2 assets must be activated and assigned tags before you can scan them. You can activate EC2 assets manually for scanning whenever you want from the assets list. We recommend you activate EC2 assets automatically using the connector wizard, this saves you from having to do it manually
1) Search your assets inventory on the Assets tab.

2) Select the assets from the list and choose Activate Assets.
Note: The Activate Assets option in the quick action menu is enabled only for assets detected through VM scans. The Activate Assets option is disabled for assets that are not detected through VM scans, but through other detection methods such as Secure Enterprise Mobility (SEM), Out-of-band Configuration Assessment (OCA), or passive scanning.
3) With assets selected choose Add tags from the menu.
